Fern Hollow Animations
With illustrator John Patience, In Production, 2026
John Patience created the Fern Hollow books, a world of animal villagers beloved by generations of readers. Our production brings that world to animated life in collaboration with the artist.
In May 2026 our team traveled to Colvend, in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, to work with John and begin documentary production alongside the animation work. The documentary explores a working illustrator's craft, world, and legacy.
Today our student animation studio is working to animate the Fern Hollow stories into videos for children using cutting edge digital art techniques.
